Israel and Syria Move Towards War; Iran Un-Characteristically Quiet

Author: Lance Winslow

Well what happened to all the rhetoric from Iranian President and what happened to all the talk? Now we see that they will not be honoring their pact with Syria as the conflict escalates in the Gaza and Syrian Military is assisting Hamas. Is Syria and Iran backing down on their pledges to help the Palestinian People?

Now Egypt is telling Israel to listen to peace negotiations, which is good advice, but Israel needs to draw Iran and Syria into a limited war so it can do what the United States, her allies and the United Nations refuse to do in short order and that is to prevent Iran from making nuclear weapons.

And since Iran will not listen to economic incentives or negotiation, well it appears that we are all moving towards conflict and war. But if the war happens sooner than later, then this will prevent a fast outcome and shortened war rather than a World War with everyone involved and as it stands everyone is involved.

Russians and Chinese for selling weapons to Iran. Turkey and Syria as allies with Machiavellian pacts with Iran. The entire Middle East including Iraq, as Iran crosses over the border planting roadside bombs. All the countries of Europe are involved and so many more like Egypt straddling the fence and trying to stay neutral.

Wow, this could get really ugly really fast. I cannot believe I heard someone at a coffee shop yesterday say; Lets just nuke the Middle East and take the oil. There sure are some hard-headed folks on all sides of this potential World War. Consider this in 2006; humans are fun to watch indeed.
